Your experience may vary......

I was charged in February 2024 for two shields and have heard the following excuses on my regular calls

* materials
* humidity
* storms
* staffing
* business volume

I have experienced quick turnarounds on recerts but this has not been a good experience.....

Update - this post reminded me to call again for another update. They expect to ship them today. I'll be happy to receive. They build a good product but the wait can be difficult.

I have a new one still in the box for a powerglide but dang it, that doesn't help you either. Hope you find one.

I guess I just don?t understand how a piece of formed steed that has never had anything exploded into it has deteriorated where it needs to be recertified. Think the rule should be if an incident has occurred that damaged the sheild it should be replaced or recertified. Mike McMahan 2543 H/SA

Some people hack them up, drill holes in them and lose parts to them to make them pretty much useless. I've been told that's the main concern.

That?s on you if you hack it up. When you sign the tech card you are certifying that it is ad produced.
