Thats odd, they list the SPORTSnationals with a double event but the double at SGMP is scheduled for the end of May?? Or are they running a single division race plus the SPORTSnationals? That would mean 3 races in 4 days!

The double divisional at SGMP remains the same, then a few months later there will be a divisional and a Sports National as well. 4 races total but 2 months apart

See below lots and lots of asphalt parking along with ample grass surrounding the shutdown area and behind the starting line. ![]()

SGMP is a nice facility, traction is great, plenty of asphalt & the grass areas are pretty good. It's too bad a well attended event with class eliminations moved 800 miles away. NTR was fairly central to the Midwest and certainly div 3 car counts alone are always strong. Stock has had a 128 car field every year since the event came back.
I understand it had to be a challenge to find a place to move it considering every track's schedule has long been complete, but... geez. I know I & my gang of 5-6 other misfits won't be going. |

Back in 1990's. I recall a division 2 race at Moroso in West Palm in beginning of July. We went once as a destination/vacation type event and it was absolutely miserable!!! So hot!!!!

Attention in the pits! With yesterday's announcement of the JEGS Performance Sportsnationals heading to South Georgia Motorsports Park, we've been getting a ton of questions, many of them the same. Here's a FAQ to clear up some of the questions.
- Is this 2 races? Yes, we will start Speedweek with the JEGS Sportsnationals and finish the week with a Division 2 LODRS event. - What about class eliminations? We are finalizing the details, but the intention is to have STK/SS Class during the Sportsnationals portion of the event - Alcohol Cars? We will not be running alcohol at this event, Division 3 is rescheduling their LODRS portion of the event, and their plan is to include Alcohol in that event as originally intended. - What about the Double LODRS at the end of May? That event is still on the schedule, this is an entirely different event as a whole. Plan on all three races for the 2025 Division 2 LODRS schedule - What about Juniors? We will NOT add SDS Juniors to this LODRS event, with it being opening weekend of the 2025 Eastern Conference Finals, it's not fair to the parents to have to make that choice and miss out on Bristol.

Where will there be a Division 3 event with Stock and Super Stock class eliminations to replace the Colombus race? Don't say US Nationals. The US Nationals has quotas. All the other class eliminations events in the other divisions don't have quotas.

There is quite a bit of paved pit area. Get here early if you want a good spot. They have some spots with power there too if you don?t want to run a generator. Cost a few extra bucks for that. One of the better tracks for pit area.
