Interesting that over 300 cars entered in Stock and Super Stock, but only have 16 cars in Funny Car, and 18 each in Top Fuel and Pro Stock. If Force, Schumacher, or Kallita ever decided to play golf instead of drag racing, NHRA would be in big trouble, doncha think?

Well another day at Indy comes to an end. Lots of people still hanging out and enjoying what's left of night. All the results are on DRC, so there is no need to go over todays racing. Everyone made it through the barn as Patsy noted in an early post. Someone ask about what was looked at in the barn. The normal head removal, roll the cam, bore and stroke was the order of the day.
While I was getting weighed and fuel checked this week I realized how efficient it all went. No lines at the scales, no back up at fuel check, just a very orderly process with no waiting. My hat goes off to the NHRA tech staff, but I also wondered why we can not get this type of service at all NHRA races..... my guess would be they just don't have the personnel. I know everyone is getting bombarded with photos on the live from and I'm going to add more here, but I figure more is better than less I hope you all enjoy. I do have a few videos to upload, so if you want to check back later they will be posted. Thanks so much for all your kind words, I know I don't respond to all the posts, but I do read them, thanks again. |

Love all the pictures and videos, but how about a video of a fast stick car? Something that keeps the driver busy and requires more skill.
