Congratulations to everyone involved in the organization and execution of this event. I watched as much as I could online and was hugely entertained.

Micheal Beard,
thanks for putting on an exciting race.. Dad and I couldnt stay at the trailer long enough because we kept running up to the starting line to watch all the cars and especially the Super K shootout... I told dad 2yrs ago that I wanted to come to your event, that it would be something really special..and it definetly WAS!! have another event like this, and you can count on the Johnson Ford Fairlane to be there... I want to thank everyone that came by the trailer and chatted with dad and i...I know i cant remember everyone's names, but I did get to meet some racers from all over the country that i have read about or talked with on here... It was the most fun dad and I have had in a long time at a racing event.

real quick I want to thank every single racer that showed up and supported this event, it was windy, cold, rainy and for me extra long days, but worth every second of my time doing it for the racers. Best line of the weekend : "I traveled 8 hours to this race to run it despite a double header in my back yard"
Thanks again! Nitro |

I'm on my last day of vacation (our first "real" vacation, something other than a weekender, something my wife has had planned for months, and I've been on technology lockdown for the last week), but will be back tomorrow night, and then off to Norwalk. Then I'll be able to get back to compiling all of the awards and contingency for the event and get those prizes and information to the appropriate parties. We had a TON of sponsors, and I'm my own secretary, so I appreciate your patience! Thanks again to everyone!

We continue to work on contingency and awards, and got to catch up with several of our winners this weekend to award gift certificates from Mickey Thompson, Summit, Jegs, NitroPlate, Comp Cams, Painless, and others.
![]() John Dinkel was all smiles as he received a Honda EU2000i generator from Bill Bagley at Bagley Tractor & Equipment (www.bagleytractor.com) for having the Best Losing Package in Round 2 of the Auto Meter Northern Class Nationals! ![]() Fred Bartoli, Jr. of Altronics (www.altronicsinc.com) presented Jim Clark with a Performaire PA-2 weather station for winning the Perfect Dialer Award at the Auto Meter Northern Class Nationals. Jim was the first driver to run dead-on with a zero. The event has been in the books for two weeks now, but everybody was still talking about it at Norwalk this weekend -- not only by those who were there, but also the people who couldn't make it for one reason or another. The feedback has been overwhelming. Thank you all so much! Also, in case you missed it, DragRaceCentral posted several of BME Photography's photos from the event! http://www.dragracecentral.com/DRCRe...SUMMIT&x=0&y=0
