Nice car, I am sure Astas car is nice also, but save these awards for the cruise ins @ the local fish freys and lets just go race. After all, isnt that why we go there?

I've already posted that I think a home built car winning Best E is very cool and Derek's in particular. If you build your own stuff, a lot of satisfaction comes from that award.
What I didn't say previously was that I also won Best E with a home built car. I didn't "enter" it for Best E. I had the chassis certified at the event and the tech thought it was cool and put it in the running. After I won, lots of folks had lots of nice things to say. A couple of folks didn't. The guys that talked smack about my car were all racing shuddering piles of crap that wouldn't be a candidate for anything except first round runner up. But that's just my experience.... others may differ. Again, congrads Derek and crew.... |
