Jacob,

From all of us at RetroThunderRacing, you and your family are in our prayers especially pop-pop. You are a very special and gifted young man. Pop-pop is a beautiful butterfly in God's hands waiting to fly.

Just wanted to put an update on here. They took my dad (jacobs pop pop) into the hospital last week. They wanted to place a stint in the duct between the liver and the colon. They were unable to get it placed. They then decided that they were going to try and place and external drain to get some of the bile out of the liver. They got it in, but it did not go where they wanted it. So they have had him in the hospital since last wednesday... today they are trying one last time to get the tube placed where they want it. He is of the mind that he is going home today weather or not they get it there. He will be going home with 24 hour hospice care.. and we will go from there.

As I know more I will let all of you know. Thank you for all of the support that you have shown our family and especially my son Jacob. In addition to all of this, we just buried my grandmother last Monday. She was my adopted mother and Jacob knew her as "Big Grandma" She as well died of cancer...
Please continue to keep us in your prayers...

Ramona, We will continue to pray, and just to let you know, you should be very proud of your son as he has been very strong and big on here with his love and concern for his grand-paw. It's a great feeling to know that there is kids in this world that do still have care, respect and love for their elders. God bless you and your family during these tough times.

Ramona, I second the thoughts of Ron, and send my thoughts and prayers from the valley of the sun...metro Phoenix, Az...as such I hope and pray that the love of GOD will continue to shine upon (and comfort) you, your awesome son, and especially his pop pop...

Jacob, My prayers go out to you and your family. Like you , my pop-pop never saw me race but I know that there is a piece of him in me that goes everywhere I go. You are a very strong young man and I know your pop-pop is very proud of you. I pray that everything works out for him.

Hi Jacob,
Just wanted to let you know that you, Pop Pop, mom and dad are in my thoughts every day. I truly hope that you and Pop Pop are able to spend time together. You are a very wonderful grandson, and Pop Pop is obviously a wonderful grandpa. You're the perfect pair!
This season of Advent is a time of hope, peace, anticipation and joy. I pray that you and your family are enveloped in all the love and prayers being shared with God for you.
May you be blessed in all that you do.

Just to give an update... my dad (Jacobs Pop-pop) has been placed on morphine today. We really have no ideas as to what that will mean long term or what our time frame is at this point but please keep us in your prayers. He is home and he will stay there. That is what he wanted.

In addition, please keep Jacob in your prayers as he has fractured his knee well the bone under his kneecap right near his growth plate. He is in a knee immoblizer right now and we go to see and ortho doctor next week.

Thanks so much for all of the prayers this far and I know that we will continue to rely on all of you!!! Thanks again!!!
