9.77 to a 9.73 is that the fastest side by side pass in stock?

Shouldn't that thing have a hood scoop? Is it not an aluminum nose? 9.77 and it could be even faster !

No....its a 425 HP (Hi comp 12.5 to 1) flat hood steel car. The Fury breaks at 8.04 with the Hi Comp combo......can run AA, A, and B. Anyone know why the Fury is not listed in the class guide with alum front end components with the 425 HP combo???. It just shows the Savoy and Belvedere unless Im reading it wrong???

The Fury didn't come with aluminum. Only the savoy and belvedere.

My OLD books show Alum with both engines and all body styles but they were printed almost 40 years ago compared to the current guide on the NHRA site.
