I've seen a Brogie roadster run in SST, back in the early 90's in California. It was a plain white one, IIRC the guy's name was Blair. He had a rear "bumper" mounted on it that was a round tube about 5" diameter. When they upped the weight limit to 2800, he apparently just added more lead inside that bumper.
Just lowering the indexes won't change much except to eliminate a lot of 10.90 racers, at least here on the West coast. If you really want to change things, then make a rule that throttle stops cannot be controlled by a timer (only by a mechanical switch on the shifter). Regards,
