4 wide stock racing would take out finish line racing, it would be all starting line reaction and who could predict their time the best, you cannot see all the cars so you would have to run all out so the bracket racers in stock ( finish line racers) would not have as much of a advantage, it would go back to true stock racing, best reaction and best tuner

It did, but a Ford flathead preceded the Hemi.

I would think if they ran four-wide that they would still run as usual and have have the spots as usual ao that one winner would come out of the pair on the left track and a winner would come out of the right track.
Now for class run offs this would indeed be interesting at the 1,000 ft or close to the finish line. .I vote class run-off go 4-wide when enough cars in same classes are available..would def save time...

I'll bet there would be some spectators to see 4-wide super stock. Even if the cars had there dial-in, there would be very little brake lights at the end of the track. "Oh no, we broke out", could be the name of the race. I am going to contact Byrd at Z-Max and see if that could be set up as a week-end race. That may be fun. Stay tuned.

Like we're not mired in enough of a bull$**** circus atmosphere now this is all we need.
I'm going mid 13s and I'm in lane #4.A AA/SA car is in lane #1.I'll have a real shot at closing him in at the stripe.Don't some of you people engage your brains before you come up with these cockamamie ideas to make improvements to an eliminator that only needs tweaking to make it run smoothly?
