First of all if you have nothing that will help the class shut the "f" up. Start your on post called "b'itching and complaining" and stay out of the way of people trying to do positive things. Trust me im sure there are plenty of people just waiting to chime in. If you dont have a car, will never have a car, never plain on racing in the class, or are just a sorry nogood worthless piece of poo shut up. We do not want to hear anything you have to say. You are wasting air that someone who cares can breath. Houston is the farthest race in the adrl program and it was suppost to rain. So having 5 cars show up was pretty good. And for you who said one was there just to test....damn he surly spent some money to test.....lets see paid the fuel, used his own motor home and trailer, flew a tuner in from dallas the day of the race, didnt stop working on his car till the race was over. I mean yeah that sounds like a reg. Test and tune for us. You werent there so shut up already!! Damn let us who want to race and who will race alone. So what if there is no purse to win...we knew that before we entered the field. Last time i checked bret is not trying to be the next wally parks. He is just like everyone else, he just wants to see heads up racing!! Get over it. You want to talk about a joke? Anyone who bashes something befor they try it is a joke!! Better yet anyone who doesnt even plane on trying it and still bashes it is a "f'in" joke!

Now to end on a happy note. Happy easter to all. I hope to see yall at a few races!!

Please tell us how you really feel!!!!!!! Don't hold back anything... I like your style......

It just goes to show that people will complain about anything. My feeling is that Mr Kepner and Mr Teuton are trying to bring a new breath of fresh air. So many people are tired of being outrun by bogus HP cars, or being a filler at Nat events and not being able to show off your car, talent, or sponsor to a crowd of people in the stands because the first 4 rounds of eliminations were run Thursday and Friday and you couldn't drive well enough for Sundays final rounds. Now this event gave the racers front row, keys to the kingdom yet some of you whiners think it sucks. So now the late model vehicles have went out on there own and some of you guys still arent happy. They went away from NHRA and the class that you guys run in. I would expect cheers not whining. Free entry with a donation? So why does that have to rub some of you the wrong way? Pro rated purse? So what, the racers entering know what the purse structure was before entering yet its a problem for some of you whiners. Look at how bad the reactions times are. So what they are all bad, so why is that a problem with some of you? If you want better reaction times and sacrifice some ET on the score boards then go in deeper or go deep. Didnt think reaction times were so important for everyone to see. The .4 pro tree helps alot in eliminating red light wins. I thought it was more important to see the ET of these cars that are running flat out. I dont have the money to buy one of these cars like most of you but I dont need to bash the ones that do have the money to own them. Dont like the program dont watch it and dont whine about something you have nothing to do with it.

If I spent $1 on a lottery ticket and one of you guys spent $2 and we won $640m you would complain that I didnt spend enough. If I spent $2 on a lottery ticket and you spent $1 and we won $640m you would complain that I spent to much. Even though there is enough for everyone you would find a reason to complain. Some of you would never be satisfied.

Mr Kepner and Mr Teuton carry on. This is a great venue.
Yes I dont race S/SS anymore, but so what. Jeff Stout

We will be at two of the race - even though each will require more than a 4000 mile round trip haul

We pay for our own prize money at NHRA events - some people don't get it

We don't do it to try and make a living - we do it because we love it

OK - Joseph you got me to break my "vow of silence" - damn you

At least this idot has the Balls to run his correctly factored car all out in NHRA. Sure can't say the same for you. I don't have to get so emotionlly attached to another venue. I could be wrong on this, but History says I'm not. Its my opinion, just like I think Bret with his over-hype is trying to hard to be the face of this thing. You calling people names because they don't agree with your stance is just childish. Grow up boy

Bret , can you post the entry list for Bristol? Im curious . This sounds like IHRA top stock , a few are happy and most wont race . I hate to say it but I think this thing needs to be re thought to bring in more cars . You cant run a series with only 5-8 cars per race and the same cars every race .

I SUPPORT WHAT BRET , ADRL AND THE TUETONS ARE TRYING TO DO ,BUT THIS REMINDS ME OF WHAT IS WAS LIKE FOR ME THE 3 YEARS AND 150K I SPENT AND TRIED TO KEEP HEADS UP RACING ALIVE . ( IT FAILED )

BRET , I PAID OUT OF MY POCKET AND IHRA HAD A GOOD PURSE 10-15K PER RACE AND IT FAILED BECAUSE WE HAD NO CARS THAT WANTED TO RACE AND SPEND THE MONEY IT TAKES TO RACE HEADS UP .

MAYBE YOU SHOULD TRY 6.0 HEADS UP CLASS OPEN TO ANY NHRA OR IHRA LEGAL STOCKER , RUN FASTER THEN THAT AND YOUR OUT , I WOULD BET YOU WOULD GET DOUBLE THE CARS AND STILL BE HEADS UP . ALL THE 5.80 CARS WOULD HAVE TO DO IS PUT IN 200LBS AND WERE RACING AND HAPPY . ADRL WOULD BE OPEN TO ALL.

IF THAT WORKED BRING IN A SUPERSTOCK 5.50 CLASS AND YOU WOULD REALLY HAVE SOME HAPPY RACERS .

MY THOUGHTS

Bo - it sounds and awful lot like an index race to me - just with very fast stockers

I do agree we will need more cars and we will need to level the playing field with weight adjustments

If we do not get the V8 Drag Paks and the NA CJs - it will be tough to get the car count up

Right now the distance and cost of travel is a real issue - plus conflicts with the NHRA schedule -and finally the need to have an 8th mile setup on the car

Even if this is a bunch of rich guys (which we are not) these are not professional race teams - some have jobs or a business to run in other words a life outside of drag racing

We really want to do a couple of the SCS races but we have to pick and choose - not follow a circuit

As far as I know, Bo and Andy’s cars fit, and they are saying the same thing I am. You just have your panties in a bunch cuz my opinions have truth to them.
Next time you think about trying to censor other people’s opinions, you should check the scoreboard first. I don't remember seeing you putting your life on the line to defend not only this country's, but the world’s freedom of speech. That takes Balls. You, spoiled little boy, just want the men and even women to do that for you, while you enjoy those privileges and try to stop others, who have served this country, from speaking their mind.
I also think it’s amusing that a "rider" in a car that never turns on win lights, even though he chases everybody in the class, is trying to call himself a "Driver" of a Super Car. You should learn how to change the oil in that thing first. I guess if I never turned on a win light in NHRA, I'd be desperately looking for other avenues also. I didn’t buy a car that was ridiculously under factored just to baby it. That type of thought process makes me think you will do anything for an advantage. I would say check your car for illegal electronics, but once again, No win lights. So, keep it up. Drag out the factoring of your car for 20 years, even though you love running it all out. You need every advantage you can get.

Its funny how a father can bust his butt for over 50 years of his life to provide the lifestyle he wants for his family and along the way teach his children to do the same so that they can carry on that lifestyle for their families and some NO NAME labels you spoiled! Damn jealously hurts!
