I have a question?? Why wouldnt they change all the 318 2bbl motors 68-73 that use the same carb, valve size cam etc.... The 69 motor also has more compression then the later years.

John, the 7 hp is correct. The average was about .880 under and there was a 1.13 under run. That equals 2.25%. And as far as Wann with the six pack, he did run some good numbers. I ran 10.60s a couple of times. Trouble is at the same race the 396's ran 10.30 in the same class. Every time. I mean we are all Democrats here, so everything must be equal and alike.

Jeff, there needs to be 2 runs of 1 seconds under to get looked at, Wade all runs were they have [class run offs] count on the average also, not just your fastest run in Qualifing, runs at open`s don`t count on average`s, only runs of 1.20 under get you hp.. Tom

Tommy, you are correct sir on the class run offs. I know what the rules say about the Open data, but it has been used for adjustments. Same as some .2xx under runs have ended up in the data and resulted in a hp reduction. The best way to approach it is as if all data will be used ![]() Wade |

[QUOTE=Randy Loge;334942 Now if we could just get them to give back some "luv" to the 70 GTX 440 6 Pak!!! 417 hp is REDICULOUS!!!!!![/QUOTE]
Looks like they are loving the 1970 ROADRUNNER, but it should apply to the 1970 GTX also even though shipping weights are different and the 1970 ROADRUNNER was previously classified as a natural A car.

Where is the run data used for these purposes located? And can anyone view the numbers?
