I also think Jeggie is a good guy and likes sportsman racing-two years ago at seattle nationals he jumped in my buddy's 72 challenger and they drove around the pit area talking to fans and racers-and they both had a blast-Brian Seaberg B/S 428

I would agree. Even though he sponsors many many other sportsman races,he has supported the A/S and A/SA Challenge over the years. One year, he was super busy at INDY but made time to call me on my cell. He and his wife along with their pup. Met me in the pits on their golf cart and personally delivered gift certificates. Sounds like a small thing, but it isn't. No doubt, they operate on a budget most of us can't understand, but there are many people with the same business interests and means that don't give sportsman racing a second thought. I think we can cut him some slack.

The Jeg's boys are down to earth - nice guys, they always say hi and take time to chat.

In 2010 at St. Louis, Jerry Duke won Super Gas, his first National Event, a little less than two years after his brother Ronnie passed away. After all the pictures were taken, we were loading up preparing to go home, and Samantha showed up in our pits. It seems that Jeg found out about Jerry's very special win, and sent the big Lucas banner from the winner's circle over to Jerry as a gift. It meant a great deal to Jerry, as well as to Kevin Cradduck and to me, it was a very special weekend. Jeg and his bunch are good people, and real friends to the sportsman racers.

ok, this might be turning into the I love Jeg thread, but it's important to keep the record straight. several years ago when he was racing for Cagnazzi, the trash guys came by to empty the barrels at the end of the day and Jeg ran out and gave them all hats for free.
I'm sure he could have done nothing or send a crew guy out but he didn't. Bruce Deveau |

Same here. I saw Jeggie @ Topeka last year. He and his dog were watching the Sportsman classes run. He seemed to be very cordial.

I normally steal the nice clean lined trash cans from the Jeg area to put beer in at Indy which has accommodated lots of my friends or lots of people who don't like me, but like the beer in the clean Jeg's can.
