Here is something I've not seen before - downtime to fix a window in the tower that was at risk of falling out. As of about 2:45 SS R1 is ready in the lanes followed by SC and then Stock.
Just about perfectly on schedule at 3:25 SS R1 starts.

What engine combo is this? And is it a SS car or Stocker running in SS?

Some stats from the first 2 rounds of Stock. I've grouped the reaction times by winners and losers.
In round 2 there was a run where if Tru-Start were in place the first red light - or slower car - would have won. Round 1 Win --- Lose Red 1 --- 5 .000 5 --- 0 .010 5 --- 3 .020 3 --- 3 .030 7 --- 2 .040 2 --- 3 .050 3 --- 6 .060 5 --- 2 .070 2 --- 2 .080 2 --- 1 .090 1 --- 1 .100 8 --- 7 .200 0 --- 5 .300 1 --- 0 Better light wins – 27 of 40 runs .030 or better wins – 20 or 44% Round 2 Win --- Lose Red 1 --- 6 .000 0 --- 1 .010 2 --- 1 .020 2 --- 2 .030 1 --- 1 .040 3 --- 2 .050 4 --- 3 .060 4 --- 0 .070 1 --- 0 .080 1 --- 3 .090 1 --- 1 .100 2 --- 2 Better light wins – 12 vs. 9 .030 or better wins – 5 or 23%

Thanks for sharing your research on this Mike. I always wondered what the average "good" light was in this racing arena. I think we all know from experience that the better light generally wins, but this chart really highlights what it takes to go rounds and do well if you want to stick around until Sunday.
Even so, it looks like you better know what to write on the windows too, or you're toast.

Mike, How many of the losing redlights left 2nd? With First or worse by compulink being available, just curious
And I guess the other question, of the 1st leaving redlight, how many had less than a .500 handicap? |
