My best 1960 car was a 1960 Ford Falcon that I bought for $10 in1968. I won more races with that car than anything since. It even won Little Stock Eliminator at the 1968 AHRA World Points Finals.

The 62-64 Max Wedge cars were by far the most race ready off the showroom floor from the 60s until the 90s. From the lower end, valvetrain, trans, rear and suspension, these cars didn't need all of the bandaids to stay together that others did.

Marv Ripes 57 Chevy 210, 283 / 250 FI with a glide. I wrote a paper about it in college. And painted on the hood, right next to the rabbit "Tricks are for kids". The car had the only two piece front bumper I ever saw.

There are so many really great cars from this era that a list of the best ones would be VERY long.
