Customer service used to be when you brought your Hurst shifter to the races and they rebuilt it on the spot for free, those days are gone with what is called services now.

I have stickers on my car for people I work with and appreciate. A couple don't pay contingencies, I just appreciate, and would like to help them.

That I will probably do...like the local driveshaft shop that went above and beyond for me when I needed them.

I guess maybe I'm half way there. I have no stickers but 2 or 3 I like.

Over the last 25 years, Stock has moved towards a more "stock" appearance. When I bought the Super Bee in 1992, it did not have the tail stripe on it or the "6 Pack" on the hood. Virtually no one had the stock vinyl on them. It was almost like the rules were so restrictive that the paint job was the only place where you could be creative and everyone did so. Stockers looked more like Super Stock cars do. There has been a noticeable shift back to the original look.

I think the muscle cars that came with cool graphics look good with the OEM look. Something like a big wagon has a large canvas for a trick paint job. They didn't come with factory graphics, so a blank canvas there. Everyone gets to reflect on their personality with their car, so I'm cool with all of them.

I always thought it looked awesome when a racer had all the stickers done in the same color. NHRA didnt like that!
