Anyone Start Drag Racing After Age 60? - Page 3

I'm waiting for the "Super Senior" NHRA Tour to start. At age 71 now, first NHRA competition in 1965. Time off to serve our country, raise a family and have a career. Race hard everyone, health will eventually slow ya down.

Does re-starting after 60 count? I raced from the early 1980s through early 1990s then took a hiatus..... for 24 years. Still have the car I raced then, but it needs updates. In 2016 at age 61 a good deal presented itself on an older but well constructed S/G car that was ready to race and I've been racing that since then - mostly just brackets.
