I'm really not sure, honestly. I'd have to imagine Darlington Dragway would get one. Outside of that, IHRA has 15 more 1/4 mile tracks in their roster, so they'll have a few to choose from. They don't really have any 1/4 mile options within spitting distance of me outside of Darlington, but several in the Midwest and Texas. Here's a few more options:

Muncie Dragway
Albany, IN

US 41 Dragstrip
Morocco, IN

State Capitol Raceway
Port Allen, LA

Capitol Raceway
Gambrills, MD

Albuquerque Dragway
Albuquerque, NM

Dragway 42
West Salem, OH

Quaker City Motorsports Park
Salem, OH

Kuhnle Motorsports Park
Thompson, OH

Kil-Kare Raceway
Xenia, OH

Edinburg Motorsports Park
Edinburg, TX

Penwell Knights Raceway
Odessa, TX

Great Lakes Dragway
Union Grove, WI

Wisconsin International Raceway
Kaukauna, WI

At one time Rockingham was IHRA. They have been making a lot of improvements (restrooms, showers, timing system and paving) at the track with new owners. Don't know their NHRA contract but that might be one that would jump back to IHRA.

Kil Kare and 42 barely have enough shutdown for 9 second cars running the 1/4 without standing on the brakes. The hill at Quaker is prohibitive to 275"+ wheelbase cars...they scrape.

US41 and State Capitol held IHRA Nationals in the past, I believe WIR might have too? I think you're going to see IHRA embrace 1/8th mile Nitro racing again.

Maybe so. I don't have personal experience with any of these tracks outside of Darlington, so I appreciate the insight. I took the liberty of leaving out the one sanctioned track in Hawaii though, doubt anybody here is making that haul lol

Yeah, they've said that STK/SS would accompany any nitro jam event they host

C'mon Dawson. From what your Dad says you will make enough money
on OnlyFans to make the haul to Hawaii. If I open my my own site I won't
have enough money for racing fuel to get to the burnout box! Unless the
girls who visit my site pay me to put my clothes back on.

I mean I truly honestly believe Dragway 42 is an option yes shut down is short but I mean so is Columbus and Pomona...... Its a first class facility and draws spectators. It actually has more drawing capability for a stand alone Pro Mod show than Norwalk and idk I wish IHRA was sanctioning US 131 or Emire Dragway in NY. Those are great options. I have heard us 41 is pretty nice in Indiana. My biggest question is how is IHRA going to attract the Classracers to these events?

I heard rumors that Flying H in Odessa MO was going IHRA. New facility just needs a few more improvements. NHRA proves every season it?s easy to attract Class Racers?. 1 small trophy and an insignificant amount of prize money has us fighting each other and spending thousands to get points just to get signed up for another with a slightly bigger trophy with a smaller field of drivers over a longer event.

Flying H is my guess for this big suprise track IHRA is adding.. I sorta think it may be edgewater as another option.. I am hearing IHRA has been sold to the businessman in Hamilton Oh.. And edgewater is right there as well...
