Some would argue that indicates everyone above the line needs an AHFS horsepower hit.
Others would argue this indicates indexes haven't kept pace with performance improvements since the last adjustment (2009?).
My guess is most would agree it indicates one of holes in the AHFS system, which is that it is easily manipulated and not likely to be effective or equitable for that reason alone.

It's a tough situation. I honestly don't know what the fair answer is.

We work hard to protect our combinations. The 376 has already triggered one qualifying session in. Now Bragg has a heads-up first round. Foley went faster than we guessed he would too. So, now we have to work on our average or get HP.

Until last year, I had no clue that the low HP 396's could go so fast. How about that 350/255!
