[QUOTE=Bruce Noland;101894]Guys,
There is no challenge between a 40 year old car and a Supercharged 2008 Cobra Jet with 800 Horsepower.

WOW, how did you come up with the 800 HP figure?! Even if these cars, that have yet to make a pass in Stock Eliminator, made anywhere near that, doncha think hooking all THAT up on 9" tires may be a challange?
What ever happened to "Innocent until proven guilty?"
I say let them run first before complaining that the sky is falling.

Jack,
You're pulling your own chain out here. The Corvette rear change was made because the factory rears were eating human flesh and bone. Remember safety???? Your bogus rear setup could start a thread of it's own. I don't smoke . Remember you are the one on meds.

Now let's return to the thread at hand. Did you think nhra would bring back the AA class, when the subject first arrived on the Internet and what makes you think nhra will never use factory Experimental again? For all we know the OEMs might like the idea and then of course nhra would create the class for them.

Rory, the 800 Horsepower figure was used at SEMA this year. And by many others since then. I know that sounds like a fantastic number. We're waiting to hear from Evan on this one.

bsa633, I guess your comment about paper cars is directed at me as well. I'm glad you know for a fact about the other AA combo's, and you have enlightened us all. Me, I have no money or time in my car, it was given to me by Ford Motor Company and they sponsor me fully, so I do not have to take a penny out of my pocket. They also do all of the development work. That, along with a car that was written on paper gives me a great combo to run. Now if only I can get the paxton charger approved. 150 mph here I come, man is this fun!

By the way, who are you?

This is soooooooo stupid that I just wanted to be the guy who made the 300th post to this thread.

By the way Kenny, since they actually did offer Paxton Superchargers on 289 powered Mustangs I am feverishly working on approval of one for my car.
We are seeking donations so I can get my own "Shelby letter". LOL

Chuck,
You of all people should not be coming out here and complaining about whining. We'll leave it at that unless you want to get specific. Mark was your friend and he has never said one bad word about you to me.

Now back to the thread at hand.

Cool Re: Factory experimental

Bruce -- Are Corvettes the only cars allowed safety ? You need to crawl under a late model GTO and see the IRS rear -- yup , just like a Corvette -- whadda know . We're past 300 posts and still no sympathy -- give it up already . Maybe if you started smoking it would be easier to take the new Mustangs -- you really need something -- this is getting to you . Its' only cars -- have some fun .

I really gotta tell ya -- I can't remember having this much fun with my clothes on in a very long time .But then Alzeheimers runs in my family so it could have been yesterday -- lets see --hmmm -- did I take my meds today?
