Shirl Greer's A-990 Coronet did not retain its original factory built sheet metal for very long.
 This is how it looked by the end of the 1966 racing season.

Shirl Greer's "TENSION" A/FX car was undoubtedly the ugliest one of the bunch. It is however very interesting to witness the transformation that was taking place with the match race cars during that short period in time.
I kind of like the look of it here somewhere during the '65 season.

I can't even imagine how ill handling and unruly the nitromethane injected TENSION altered must have been to drive. This car was sporting a front suspension pirated from a Model A Ford that utilized a single transverse leaf spring.
