nothing is sacred.....(except maybe hitting the brakes).....not bad Eddie....it should go a couple faster at Norwalk.....I knew you were close when we time trialed at Columbus....you were right next to me...at least now I can wave at you when we're racing....with your previous combo you were at the cones when I came off the stop....

see you Friday....

Talking Re: Colorful Racer's Secret Test session

I happen to be watching when the 10.0? 160 pass was made. I want to see that baby WFO !! It would have to run 170 or better. I thought about stopping by and introducing myself but got into something else and never did. Good Luck this weekend !!

Hey ,,, I am old , and I kept the toilet paper CBS gave me ,, I still might need it

I'm impressed with the knowledge folks have of old R&B hits ,,,, The Temptations ,,," getting ready cause here I come " ,, with Eddie Kendricks singing lead ,,, took me way back

Ruth ,, you may be a distant cousin ????

Jason ,, You know I'm a Small Block Man ,,, but I 've got to be honest and say this "Big Block" is a whole another world , with Power to spare !!

Jr. ,,,, Everything in life is relative " Compared To What " ,,, 166 was fast for me

Oh, I know. And if I wasn't so damn stupid / stubborn I probably would have sold all of my small block stuff by now and converted to a big block too. I just can't pull myself to do it though. It's the dummy in me wanting to be different.

Of course, if I had the money I build one kick-***** small block and run 9.90 @ 170 mph doing that. Of course, that would be just as stupid, because with that motor you'd be better off running Comp, and for the money you could build a big block that would run 9.90 @ 180 mph.

And don't even get me started on the whole aspect of my personality of not being able to leave well enough alone. Must......................Tinker.............

On a completely different note, Billy Leber passes along his condolences on the loss of your small block. I was at his house yesterday and your name came up in conversation, and he asked that I make sure that I told you that he said 'Hello'. He must really like you since he doesn't ask me to do that often. Though, I'm sure that will come to an end the first time he races you with the new combo!

I'm sure everybody noticed CR running Tim Schmidt's 170mph car in the second round....Eddie came out on top....9.903....I don't think he wanted the race to be called the way he was driving.....and his car running....

Tim was probably pretty surprised when that ol cutlass came off the stop at almost the same time he did....all I saw from the finish line was white teeth....
