Not talking about the size of the opening, its the height of the top of the teardrop. Taller allows for a taller intake. Air box could be a good setup but it would limit you on the height of the intake and most SS 2X4 cars seem to like the tunnelram type intakes. |

Norwalk, Who will it be? the "HONKIN HEMI" or the "THUNDERBOLT"? Good luck with the weather. I think there might be a chevy ready for Bowling Green which will be really close too.

There are four Super "B's" at Norwalk this weekend: Tony DePillo, Paul Adams, AH Adkins and ???? (white thunderbolt) Paul ran a 9.01 into the wind with around 2500 DA (low baro). Everybody else was teens.
I talked to AH Adkins for a while Friday, he's been having tranny issues (broke his good one) and sorting out a few other issues. |

Paul great to hear you got the record. Miss seeing you at the races but know you are still having fun. We were keeping up with what you were doing as we were at the NMCA race in Bowling Green that weekend and word soon spread that you had the record. You never miss a beat. Great job by a great guy.

Dick:
You are right it was Ray. He was running pretty good but Paul is THE MAN in SS/B right now and it couldn't happen to a nicer guy. Paul works very hard on his racing and loves it. It will be very hard for any of the SS/B guys to outrun him because of that. He doesn't like to get beat. |

I teched Paul's Thunderbolt at the Bowling Green Hot Rod Reunion. Paul came down to enjoy the race and run with his friends in Nostalgia SS. He had the correct 4" tall teardrop hood on the car. No problem with carb to hood clearance. He did not have to alter the carbs or intake to change from the other hood.
