Well part of the reason is 1= we are 1 hour from atlantic ocean 2= it is a holiday weekend.As you know motels don't care, they work kinda like gas prices.Sorry , i wish i could do something to help ,but i am on the wrong side of the fence.I would give all drag racers 40% off on fuel and motel if they would show IHRA membership.

I'm at track .About 50 rigs here now. 78 temp and partly cloudy. goin to the small beach behind the track to watch some jet skis . Howie Dalton is here with his t/s ride. L D Whitley, Phil Hilling along with his brother with that super nice 55 chevy c/m stocker.Rigs still rolling in as we speak. Be back later for more news. Supposed to test & tune tonite.

Over 200 cars here already . Great weather. 30 #s of grilled chicken and lots of cold bevs consumed. Still up and cars still coming in. Looks to be a grfeat race.

Just wanted to say thanks to Bobby Smith & the KDS crew for a job well done this weekend. Lots of "southern hospitality" from the Waters clan.
