Someone who can remember, please comment on this but as I recall (long, long ago) there was a time when the first red light locked out the other side and two red lights were not possible??

Well said. 85 % of the time I bracket race, I have the slower car. That fact alone has forced me to spend more time with a practice tree. There are advantages to having a faster car, and there are advantages to having a slower car. I just had to learn how to win with a slower car. It's all equal.

Let me understand this correctly: You actually like the fact, that your opponent may not have to to take a shot at the tree?
I would then presume you would not like it at all if your opponent always had to take a shot at the tree? You would feel guilty if a faster car lost, only because they had a worst foul start than your own? |

What are these advantages and disadvantages when one car dials 12.95, and the other dials 13.15? |

However, if the dial ins are over 1 second apart : Slower car drivers have to learn the art of judging "rate of gain" while looking over their shoulder. Slower drivers are ALWAYS closer to the finish line ....until the last few inches. Faster car drivers don't have to look over their shoulder and have a real good view of the slower car's front wheels. Hell, I could go on and on, but what's the point...........

Don't we have enough problems right now!!!!! Why don't we get the current problems under control (whitch will never happen) this doesn't seem to be that big a deal. If we or them would quit F--$king up the rules all the time may be we could get some of the major problems under control or evan fixed..
