New England Dragway South ( Norwood Arena)
Boch Dodge (Wayne Buxton) were regulars there. Don't forget Orange Dragstrip, Fitchburg, Massachusetts. (North-Central Massachusetts) |

I remember - a short 1/8th miler with hardly any shutdown. Garlits actually ran there in the 60's.

Re: Lost Drag Strips
Out here in Washington state,,,R.I.P. Puyallup Raceway Park,,Arlington Dragstrip
and Shelton Dragstrip (soon to be replaced by The Ridge Motorsports Park), on the west side,, and Deerpark Raceway in eastern Washington. I'm sure theres more, but it will take an "older timer" than me to recall them. I'm just a kid at 58! Danny Durham |

Re: Lost Drag Strips
Dover Drag Strip was 'lost' for awhile ,but can be "found" at www.doverdragstrip.com. along with over 2500 topics and now over4500 archived photos in the ODF Pemium Members Photo Galleries..Best topic about its history at the forum called "Dover DragstripGone " .A great read of all our guy's recollections & research:
http://www.doverdragstrip.com/phpBB3....php?f=12&t=35 ...And heres a link to a great bunch of Track historys in the Northeast: http://www.doverdragstrip.com/phpBB3/viewforum.php?f=9 ..............use the search feature for Drivers names -cars-etc.You may be amazed at the info. Paul C.--- thanks for the info in a previous post ...me ? Famous?
