Carey, I was just thinking, just use those tethers that Johnny Gray used a month ago out west, they sure did the job.

Cary, I'm still trying to figure out how the tech guy saw how big a hole you had behind your flywheel. Did you go to tech with the transmission and floor pan removed?

I think NHRA has bigger issues to worry about than an inch of clearance on a crankshaft by the scatter shield, With the RPM that Honda will buzz I don't think anything that explodes in the can will be heading inward, at least not according to the law of physics. NHRA made a class for the car, don't punish him for showing up. Don Jackson

Best reply ever!!! Your car is bada##. Engineering is engineering and your car has a boat load of it. Be proud of what you built because there's a whole lot of us that thinks its way cool.

And where are they now? although I will admit that I did enjoy the bikini contests these days I'll probably get smacked for looking, back then things were different in my personal life so I could pretty much look at anything I wanted to.
so you must not be too proud of that the thing whatever it is as nobody ever did answer my question and I still don't know what the hell a S2000 is? Is it some sort of science fiction movie? or the cartoon character speed racer's new ride?
It's an aluminum body two-seat sports car by Honda. It has in in-line 4cyl and is RWD. It's a hi-tech car and the engine has (I think) an 8800 RPM from the factory. It is naturally aspirated from the factory. In the class he races your allowed to place a turbo on the car.
The fact that anybody can walk in their Honda dealer and buy one (not sure if they still build them), makes it easier to swallow than say, a late-model CJ.
