Looks like the trigger was caused by Alan Messer who drives a stick car. I spoke to Pat Cvengros a few minutes ago and the horsepower will be removed today.

I guess there were no changes in the Super Stock HP or were they simply to lazy to post them?

The way it was explained to me is that the engine gets triggered regardless of the transmission, (one run could be a stick and the other an auto) and then they look at the averages for both stick and auto and if either are more than .85 under, that engine/trans combo gets hp,

So does this mean that when a mine shaft rule is in effect any runs that are 1.0 under or faster do not count against the average, or produce any triggers for review for that weekend?

I do not understand.? on the nhra competition
"more h.p. updates" dated 7/15/15 Superstock changes it looks like on the first line the combo gets a 6 hp. reduction. then on line 2 it looks like it looses 5 h.p. and it lools like the same combo to me?

As I read the classification guide, it appears to be the same engine combination, but one is classified as "with P/G" (assuming power glide), which is the combo that got increased HP and the other one got reduced HP. Maybe some one more knowledgeable than me can clarify.
