Sorry to hear this. Me and some friends met him at a car show years ago and had a great conversation. In later years I got to race against him. RIP Mr Feldman

I always made a point to stop by and say hello to Rich. He was always in a good mood and wearing a big 'ole smile. He was always a delightful guy to talk to. Sad to see him go, but glad to have counted him as a friend. RIP.

Very sad to hear of Rich's passing. I watched him race for as long as I can remember, and spoke to him at the track on many occasions. R.I.P. "Mr. Security".

This is such SAD news. I have known Rich from sometime in the late 70's or early 80's from our runs at Quaker City. He was a very special guy. I don't think I ever saw him without a smile on his face and a kind word to say.

Rest In Peace Rich, you will be missed.....

My thoughts and prayers go out to Mr. Feldman's family. Absolutely one of my favorite cars since I was younger. Always like seeing it in the staging lanes as well as winding the gears down the track. Very nice man, truly a huge loss to the stick racers and the racing community. I hope someone can continue his passion and field his car. RIP

The descriptions by Rick, Jeff, Ron and Gary are what Richard always was to me, a true gentleman with a great sense of humor who enjoyed life, people and racing. It was a honor to have known a man of his character over the decades. My condolences to his family and friends.

Heard about Rich's passing today at the Bradenton Florida race. What sad news. We remember being at a Dallas race during a rain delay and he proudly showed us all his radio equipment he had in His truck. He never did tell us all the good works he did with it just that it was a hobby. What a fine racer and gentleman he was. We will miss him dearly. God bless you Rich. Your super stock friends Mark and Elaine

It was always my pleasure when I got to tech Richard's 66 Chevy at the races. He was such a gentleman. Sometimes he would stop by the tech trailer when he saw I was not busy and we would talk about big body Chevies. I am glad Rick Brown told us about another side of Richard's life that I never knew.

I must tell about the time Richard's Chevy was out of commission and he showed up for tech at the Quaker City points meet to get a grading point. This was when we were still teching downtown behind the shopping center. I really felt bad because as hard as I tried, I could not find a class for the mid-engined Ferrari he drove to tech that day. Years later we still laughed about that when we would talk at the races.

Rest in peace Richard. You will be missed by many at the races.
