Congratulations on 100 wins. I went to the semi-finals in Stock at Columbus in ’94 or ’95 and a relatively non-descript Camaro from western NY won S/S at the same race. I thought, “good to see one of the little guys win one”. From there, you certainly went on a tear. Here is 100 dots:
https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q...=1499704241337 If each dot represents a national even win, just imagine the time and effort it take to make one of those dots. Now do it 100 times. Between the wins, the magazine articles, the advertisements, the numerous mentions of your name at every national event (even if you are not there) your name and your cars have got to be some of the most recognized in all of drag racing. That is saying something in the sea of cars and names that is NHRA Sportsman drag racing. |

You have set a example of the meaning of Sportsman racing Hard work, setting goals and meeting them, self drive and endless hours of work just to get another win. Add 99 to that one and you are there. It's easy said but damm hard to get it done. Congrats my man. Any yes "Dan is the Man".

Cheater!!! Lol I couldn't resist. Dan you are the epitome of a master craftsman, you have dedicated your life to racing and have succeeded in every class you've ever raced. I had a chance a few years ago to observe you from a distance at Charlotte between rounds and thought if that's what it takes I will never win many National events! I'm too busy socializing and taking pictures for Ken!
Congratulations on 100 and I can't wait to see how many more you can get. By the way I know you were just as proud of your son winning Pittsburgh as you were of 100.

Mr. Fletcher- I can remember a long time ago when the Checkmate was orange and you and your Dad under it changing transmissions (or clutch-4 speed) at Moroso 5-day events late into the night. All to race the next day(s). We all worked hard to make it happen, but with your dedication and thousands of miles on the road only helps to show how great an accomplishment you've achieved! CONGRATULATIONS!!
