I do look forward to the problem of having to wait for contingency awards again someday.
x2 - Calvert is phenomenal! They also typically post double the amount of money that everyone else does.

John Calvert complimented me on my t-shirt in Chicago two years ago and we chatted quite a bit throughout the event. No surprise that his company is just as pleasant to work with.

This may have been mentioned above.. It takes from what i can remember 4-8 weeks for the contingency results to be posted where manufactures can see who won with their product (Its our first year of paying contingency and maybe there is a faster way, but not that i am aware of)..
We obviously try to pay as soon as we see the results through the NHRA contingency site......Nothing alerts us as we have to go into the site and see if anyone won with our products so if someone was not paying attention i can see how it would get pass them for a while...

Had the good fortune to win the Keystone IHRA (RIP) race and had 5 stickers.....all paid.
ATI, Hoosier, Jeg's and Summit all paid within a month. ATI was first.
Sunoco required 1 follow-up call...asked for a W-9 form and I had the check in about 3 weeks. The Sunoco lady was customer friendly and got the job done.
Side note....Jeg's check came in a box with several hats with the event ,winner, class and my name embroidered on the hats. Nice extra touch!

Remenber a slow pay posting is better than no posting at all. e polite but persistant when dealing with contingency payouts

When I won in August 2014 and July 2016, I got paid by 13 companies. Some were slow but eventually paid. Longest I waited was 5 months.

Computech did not pay but the lady was very nice and informed me they only paid for 5 years from date of purchase. With the way they handled the situation, I had no problem purchasing the trailer based weather station from them in 2017.

Hogan did not pay but did give me a credit toward the purchase of a manifold. Better than telling me I was SOL.

Killing them with kindness got me a whole lot further than being a jerk. Of course that applies in all aspects of life.

Here's the 2017 Divisional postings, manufacturers have requirements related to registration, how recent the purchase was, etc. You can get the specifics on NHRA Racer. There are also a few manufacturers who pay that don't do so through the NHRA program (such as Turbo Action). Probably be another month before the 2018 postings are available. See nhraracer.com for more...

Looks like Hogan stopped being a sponsor. Don't see them listed.
