At the risk of being ignorant, can someone explain a lazy photo cell and how it effects R.T.' and e.ts.
Thanks and be safe all. Walt |

As you get the beam lined up a little red light will light up on top of the Banner Eye and make you aware its "made". The light on top my be dim, as it's barely made, or it might POP on and be quite bright. You can get them adjusted to where they SNAP on ..If you leave it dim, and not perfectly lined up, it will effect how quickly it triggers whatever your trying to do with it. If we left them in that condition, we could rest assured that within a couple days we would be sending someone else back to work on them because as dust, grime, soot got over the eyes lens a little, we would start getting missed counts, or missed whatever's ... Hope this helps

That morning sun was causing some kinda reflection on the lights in the right lane. It was also pretty tough for the drivers in the the left lane. Some couldn't find the tree in the left lane but they only re-ran a few that were way out of line in the right lane. I guess that was a toss of the coin flip. Tough way to start. Larry you didn't get a re-run. Do you think that 1.280 sixty foot time was correct?

Seasoned veterans KNOW that the left lane can be a challenge in the early AM at Gainesville ...A flip of the coin is SO important at this track ....

Seasoned veteran sounds much better than old veteran. Phoenix is or should I say was that way.

60’ vary a little depending where the car comes down. 330’ looks close I think I just got beat on my breakout run.
