Hi J.D. thanks for the nice words! You already know all this stuff from the Chrysler FB page so old news to you.

Some more pics including in the blue/white paint scheme. This says Charles Smith Contracting Owner on it, but still has 5&50 on it so I don't know what's up?...THANKS AGAIN!

I talked to Ken Jr.last week.He says they went to Allentown Pa. to pick up the Jack Werst car.

I also talked to Billy and he's looking for photos of when he worked on the car.

Over the years I have always wondered what happened to many of these original cars as they appeared in 1965. Shirley Shahan's 65' Belvedere was one that always stood out. Going to a former racers home to purchase some parts there was some conversation about old race cars. One of the cars that he talked about was the Drag On Lady Plymouth and how he watched it turned over to a local junk yard about 5 miles from my home to be scrapped after a crash.

I've been searching for material and speaking with others to confirm this story. I have had a brief conversation with Shirley and one pit crew member about the car. My information trail ends prior to 1976 and shows what I believe to be this car and it's end. Does anyone here have any information about this car and where it may be.

Not sure if this one's been posted before. Found it on Moparts by bigdad. Must be early in the season, as this is the first pic. I've seen with these wheels. ie:before the Cragars
