yes you are correct, Edmond will now have 643pts to 653pts for A.Fetch, Edmond will have to make it to 4th round at either Noble or Vegas to win the Championship, now theres some pressure for ya!!!

* Unusual circumstance. You'd have to win a race with less than 64 cars .Probably won't apply here. They'll have to dust off the Top Secret NHRA Manifesto and look it up.

this race had less then 64 cars so if Edmond had won 3rd round that would give him 62 points not 61. But seeings he didnt now he is 10 points behind by getting 51pts. He added 11 to his national points by throwing out that 40. Now at the next race if he goes to 4th round he betters a 50point race with atleast a 61. understand now. No tie possible. edit: unless there is 129 or more cars at one of those divisionals, then 4th round loss would be 60 and a possible tiebreaker.

They do not run more than a 128 car field at a Divisional.I was racing at Vegas in 03 and qualified #129 driving a fuel injected truck.I did get to race as an alternate, but had I won any rounds, the points would not have counted since alternates can not earn points. Those were the rules back then, and I think they are the same.

You caught me 442Olds guy, before I could make my correction; I had posted in here about Kevin Helms being within striking reach of catching both Anthony & Edmond, but I digress that I overlooked that he was a 1st rd ru at the Silver Dollar divisional that started yesterday, but is concluding today. He had a good opportunity, but now only has one more race to claim, and too much of a deficit to reach them...however with a good showing at the Noble race, he can make his way into the top five...that is provided Dustan Lowell doesn't make his way out west to partake in the last two national races, because he's in a better position than Kevin was...his 555 points, and only having been to 3nats this year, means that by just getting appearance points for the first round at both 'Vegas & Pomona, Dustan can vault to 3rd, and be within a few round wins of both Anthony & Edmond. However, living in NH., that's an enormously long tow to go to both of those races, but if he can do it, then my money would be on him. Adam Davis could've helped his cause but a 2nd rd loss this weekend may have done him in as well, and Jody Lang only has one more race to claim, so Dustan is the only one who could possibly rain on the parade of Mr's Anthony & Edmond? However with Florida being the furthest from home he's traveled this year, I think it's going to be either Anthony, or Edmond...may the best man win!!!
