Chip, instead of putting $50,000 into your super rod car to shut if off for over 2 seconds after you leave...........put $49,000 into the motor and a $1,000 into your brakes and quit bitching. No, I havent ran that speed at Pittsburgh, but there is about 13 racers that do it weekly......either you cant drive your car and they can....or you just feel like being a internet bitcher!!!!! or better yet....if you think its to short....dont come!

Chris,
I don't have a s/r car anymore. I never really liked it although it did have 4 wheel disc on it. I traded it for a 4 link dragster. I don't want to hear nothing about can't drive either. Have you ever won a race?
I'm not coming because of work. Everything is loaded and ready to go. I have several hundred snack machines to fill before school starts in a little over a week. I really hate to miss this race. The Carolina,Immokolee, and Pittsburgh races are the best this year for the IHRA sportsman racer.
Good Luck to everyone this weekend even you Chris in your slow ***** stocker.

I did not mean to really stir the pot here.I love racing the IHRA and the Pittsburgh track.Unfortunately because of a heavy case load I have not been able to race much and my racing skills show it.Frankly the way I have been racing I could race a mile and not win.If I can move some cases Paula and I will be in Pittsburgh at least Sunday if I can find a spot to park my rig maybe we can even go Friday night. In the end I guess of all the comments here Wes nailed it when he said "Hell I will race 100 feet" Guess that attitude is why he wins so much.Hope to see You-ALL this weekend.

Thanks Danny the rig is a problem because of of the 3 cars and 6 kids its like the circus coming to town.IHRA has been good about parking me because we are a little unique.Trying to get there later today but have a grand Jury on on the Blackhawks hockey star I represent Pat Kane so it may be tomorrow by then they may not have a spot big enough for us..Got the car fixed from Skyview ripped out first gear at the line so only legal business in the way.
