Jeff, I would not care one way or the other but your in a Glide case not a PowerFlite, at least C4 and T350 pro trans has the right case.

So if it's a ford or bowtie it's ok? I guess that sums up this whole network. Mayabe not. Only if it's a bowtie, then it's ok. Maybe they should ok the early jeep torqueflite behind the chevy motor. Then it would be ok.

Put your glasses on, I said the ford and chevy have the right case, I dont care what is inside.
Put your glide parts inside a Power Flite and they all become equal but you have a glide case. If you dont get it I am going to talk to your beer supply and buy out your brand

Bob's got a point. As bad as Jeff hates GM I would think knowing he had those Powerglide parts in his race car would give him hemroids. LMAO

Jeff,it wont bolt to a Chevy, but there were AMC bolt patterned Turbo 400s,but I guess you knew that allready.

Watch out Bobby, you're going to be grouped with everyone else who understand the danger associated with the DP's and Cobra Jet's. The factory can install anything they desire and it's legal. Delay Boxes, throttle stops, trans brakes, etc. After all it's stock from the factory. We really don't have a gripe about the trans since it's factory installed. It's the whole concept of allowing crate motor Super Stock, under factored cars to compete with street available cars that were the foundation of stock for many, many years. Pandora's box has been opened and NHRA has made it clear, they don't care what the other racers think about their decision.
