Looks like the west coast rule book is working, Bo Butner is still driving his AA mustang in stock. How does that work? If you done that here in div 5 you would not be on the top of the sheet but on the bottom dqed.Up date Bo is now in a 2012 mustang. Tom

Yeah ,you are right.
I guess i should have kept my comment to myself instead of saying anything on here.
I must have been dreaming when i saw some of the NHRA guys running IHRA some this year...I don't no how they got in with cars built for NHRA ( ? )

Anything in the NHRA class guide for s/ss are also in the IHRA class guide.(must be a mis-print)...
I'll just "try " to keep my thoughts to myself from now on..

Terry ,you are correct again my friend....

You are right to Danny. NHRA could go completely out of business and every track in the USA could be IHRA and the most would quit, sell out, etc. before they would "Lower" themselves and run IHRA. BRAIN WASHED !

Thoughts to myself.
I like NHRA, never said i didn't.Just raised in IHRA country.

IHRA don't give hp if a car runs fast at a NHRA meet.
Believe me ,the guides are the same (except some hp ratings)
IHRA didn't add 3 tenths to index ,NHRA took 3 tenths off...
You may want to ask the names you mentioned why they chose the sanction...
I would say i am one of the very low % of racers on here that as you say talk NHRA down.
With that said , I love racing and hope it stays around for a long time.....

Danny and Terry how can you talk IHRA up?
Ten years ago there were a good place to race. Now there national events are a joke. I think the northern nats this year had about 400 total fans. And what they call a pro show is nothing but a local night of fire show. When I when to the northern nationals in 2002 the place was packed, tons of fans and racers. IHRA is not on the right track.

Now all the news from SEMA. New carmaro looks great MPR did a great job like always.

New Stk rule changes on the table for 2012

64 car fields for ss and stk at all nationals but Indy.
For stock only 1980 and newer cars only.
All you cry babys are going to get your want NHRA no longer needs you old cars to fill there fields. Sorry Greg and Andrew no NHRA for you guys next year. Well you can always run SS.
And last three new stk classes all 10.5 tire.
New cars are here to stay. Are you?

NOPE ! Never planned to be an NHRA member ever again. 10 years ago NHRA was fun also. Who cares about the Pro show in either association except for the clueless spectators who just want to watch crashes anyway. All the so called Pros do is keep the track from rusting from all the explosions. NHRA had my money for over 30 years. No more. Nostalgia shows and circuit races along with some IHRA are more fun for me. Thats more than enough running up and down the roads at todays fuel prices. If what you wrote means "1980 and newer cars in stock only" for 2012 is true then I wont be alone either. NHRA will just shoot themselves in their foot with that deal. Who will NHRA get to pay for the extra insurance for them to run the Fuel Cars???? NHRA always was behind the times with some tech stuff for stock and S/S.. Roller rockers and 10.5 tires have been on the books for a very long time in IHRA.
And to think....I used to think NHRA was the only deal in town....Until I woke up.
