Good morning - Yesterday was everything a racer would want here at Atco - sunny with blue skies and track that really had teeth - racers threw everything they had at it and still hooked .Today could be another story however - as I sit here enjoying my morning bowl of Special K I can see a storm brewing as its gloomy even at this early hour - no Sun and really angry looking skies .They're calling for rain to hit later this morning and lasting all day - fingers are crossed that we can get our last qualifier in the morning and jump into eliminations early this afternoon.On the other hand I may spend the day catching up with cleaning chores while its storming - its a coin toss that could go either way .

Racing ? Thats another story as the top two yesterday in Stock ( Ron Infantino (in his '69 Camaro Z10 clone@ -957) and Evan Smith ) are only a few thousandts apart and I'm sure both would like another shot at the top spot and then there's David Ficcaci a mere hundreth behind them so .....
SuperStock is showing much promise with one of its bigger fields this season here in Division one with 71 entries so far with Frank Modugno using his 97 Firebird to get the # 1 spot in his SS/DS entry with a fine -1.o46 under - but then there's Joe Garbarine right behind him by a hundreth and change with his '05 Cavalier GT/FA who I'm sure wants another try at the top spot this morning .

Does anyone know a run schedule for today? I know it's a 9:30 start with stock but I see Comp at 10:30 and TD/TS at 11:00, would super stock be before or after these guys? Trying to get some friends and family to come out today.

10:30 update - we were in the lanes for our final qualifier when the rains came - nothing huge but enough to stop things - we're on hold ............

Well they tried very hard and finally got the place dried out - Stock just finished their final qualifier and Comp is on the track .Speaking of the track it again had big teeth today with no one having issues with it .

And for those of you who are wondering (or asked ) I'm no longer last on the quailifing order thank you ...............................Like the song says --- "with a little help from my friends " ...........later .
