Live from New England Dragway - NHRA Lucas Oil Series
Hi kids - we really are live today - live from the parking lot outside the track as officials here refused anyone other than Alcohol cars entry into the track today .Not sure why but we're lined up and waiting until 7AM tomorrow for entry .
As for the ride here I decided that if I spoke with ten different racers I'd get ten opinions on which the best way is to drive here so I made up my own directions .
North on 287/87) to almost Lebanon Valley Raceway - jump on the Mass Pike ( 90 East ) to 495 to 125- best roads I've ever been on coming here - maybe a little longer and cost more in tolls but my fillings are still intact and I didn't blow any tires . For those who who need fuel the Irving Station on rt 125 is the best and the least expensive plus they have a Dunkin Donuts on the property .
Tomorrow is test n tune day here at NED -- hopefully the weatherman has it right that we're supposed to have a extra nice day as today was mostly rainy and gloom .We'll see...As you'll see from my pics its a bit foggy tonight .
Till then .......
PS- Just thought I'd mention the fact that you're stuck with me for a few days as the boss isn't going to make it - something about a meeting on the Boardwalk to talk about a possible purchase - I didn't hear the entire conversation as Donald wasn't speaking as loud as he usually does - more on this later .
