What a classy young man too when they interviewed him; polite, to the point, friendly, down-to-Earth. No drama, mud-slinging, negativity, ... how refreshing was that as opposed to the typical cry baby Pro drivers?

Let me clarify: Drew nearly hit a home run first time at bat. Yes, there are serious skills to get a PS car down the track, (doubt that I could do it) and to overcome the pressure of your first race. THEN, to get to the final. Yea, I get that. I also get that money talks in this business.
Drew was a great interview as well... I'm just sorry to see the Bob/Bill Glidden, WJ/KJ, Anderson/Line, RJ/AJ era is a thing of the past. The real pisser, IN MY opinion was that while the kid with the shiny new red Camaro got all of the attention, coverage of what it must have taken for the Grose team to just GET to Pomona and qualify should have been given a glance at least. |

Maybe if your guy can get past 1st round they'll talk about him too.

This was Joey Grose's third race. He and his team competed at Sonoma in July and Pomona in November last year. Obviously they are struggling a bit, but good luck to them as well. It is good to see some new faces in Pro Stock. Let's see where everyone is by the end of this year. Should be some great competition this year. Who knows which driver will be champion this year???

The only other person to go to the Pro Stock final in their first race was Larry Lombardo driving for Bill Jenkins, which was obviously a long time ago.
