Back in '96 my dad and I stopped at Taylor Ent while heading back to Florida and Charlie happened to be there. Told him I've been a long time fan of him and Jeff, so he gave us the $.05 tour. Listening to him and my dad talk you would have thought they grew up together. He showed us everything, including the huge hickory(?) tree out back and the "hanging" story which was hilarious. We talked about everything from engines, racing to family and growing up in Lumberton. We truly lost a really great soul. RIP Charlie.
