I know Patsy is felling much better the reason being before I left the hospital yesterday evening she dictated a laundry list of things that I needed to bring to the hospital this morning. Number one on the list was makeup, who would of thought that? The hospital has her on a hart healthy diet no salt or seasoning and for a southern girl it’s very difficult to eat food without seasoning. At supper last night she told me that the food needed Tony’s Seasoning. Yesterday hearing Patsy express a little dissatisfaction about the seasoning was music to my ears. She’s on the way back.
This is all great news. I am sure you are relieved that Patsy will be coming home soon. We need her back on the road with you reporting on your adventures. God Bless you guys in the future and safe travels when you get back out there racing. Give Patsy a hug for me, thank you.

When I arrived at the hospital the PT folks had her out of bead and walking not a big journey but a good start. I helped with her hair removing tangles. She still on a reduced 02 supply trough her nose. All of the tubes have been removed and now she has to get in and out of bed when Mother Natures calls, being on a water pill increases the frequency.

We hope this is just a loud wakeup call for us to live long and happy life!

That is good news Larry, glad to hear it. I got my wake up call last fall, that's for sure, and it was so loud my ears still ring. Hopefully she'll be home soon, with a good recovery program to follow.

WOOHOO!!!!! Glad that you are looking at this as a wake up call. Some don't get that call. My prayer is that you guys get several more years of a happy and fun life together.

After initial diagnosis, my wife and I got 14 1/2 more years.

Patsy is out of Critical Care in a normal room in the hospital. The doctors have reduced her 02 supply by 50% and her body seems to be tolerating the reduction very well. The basketball game on Friday is almost out of reach for us. We are big fans of our granddaughters high school team. I guess we will have to watch the game on the radio, old school.
