This is not true, they literally hosted the IHRA team finals this year, which I was at lol

I have mixed emotions about the change. I hate IHRA won't have a nitrojam in my backyard, but I love the idea of having another divisional right here at home and maybe a national open or two.

According to the IHRA website, suppose to be a track partner announcement today. Also a big announcement on Jan.2.
We'll see what happens.

They went back to IHRA recently, now they announced they are going to NHRA. Galot is leaving NHRA and going to WDRA, it?s hard to keep up with.

With Darlington leaving IHRA I don?t know where on the east coast they have a Nitrojam, unless another track switches to IHRA.

The last I saw Memphis was closed and grass was growing up everywhere.

People love to dig at IHRA but I mean WDRA is the old IHRA management that messed everything up and WDRA doesnt really do anything for drag racing except Sanction tracks.... WDRA is a sanctioning body that I feel like drag racing could easily do without.......... my opinion

I was positive they had gone WDRA but did they switch back to IHRA or was I dreaming? Apologies if I got this all screwed up but I'm hopeful they will have a NHRA division race since we lost Galot and I can't afford to camp out in Florida for several weeks with all the retired folks

Good evening. As I recall, Darlington went WDRA a couple years ago. I don't remember what caused the change, but they went back to IHRA, last year I believe. I seem to remember a big statement was made about how they had so much history with IHRA being one of the reasons. I'm sure there's someone who knows the details better than me and can clarify it.

Is it true IHRA is advertising no entry fees for participants and spectators, while only charging for parking? I also heard they're going to allow teams/racers to keep 100% of their merchandising money as well. With increased payouts as I've heard rumored, where's the money coming from? Apparently sponsors with deep pockets?
