Did anybody ever run a front wheel drive Olds Toronado in stock?

Can you use a mechanical stack injector on a SS 283 FI 57 Chevy? I'm sure the total opening size would have to be altered to regulate it to factory cfm's.

What does Abazzia run on his stocker Corvette?

Wade

Before they sold it, they had mechanical fuel injection on it.

You aren't biased Mike. Standing at the finishline and listening to Howards car come by is like seeing and hearing the great old G/MP cars like Fat Fred Hartman, Hildebrandt and Siriani,FJ. .......uH OH , I'm getting misty eyed. ........Tom

Two of the oddest combos I've seen would have to be the U/SA AMC Matador Sta. Wgn. from Cal. It had a 304 2V combination and was on this website for sale last year.
The other would have to be Bob Shaw's 4dr Cadillac Seville that holds the T/SA record now I believe.

I ran a 4cyl. 63 Chevy II in Z/sa . It wasnt very quick but it was the only one around. Dave Danish cut his hand on a rust hole in the fender at the first points meet I ever entered. I think the only reason he let me race at all was because he had never seen one .The engine had the same specs. as a 194 cu. 6 cyl except it was only 151 cu...

How about Ellis Buth in W/S with a Pinto Wagon. One of these days he may need a new pair of slicks. NHRA record holder 15.83. His brother Marty isn't much of a slouch with the "Half a V-8" Turbo T-Bird. Marty usually qualifies near the top of the field.

I'd give a vote to anything with 4 doors, or an inline 6.

I just sold a 63 Tempest with a 4cyl/Q-jet, was going to try racing it but thought better of it when I priced transaxle components...

Hey Wade, A fellow named Melvin Harris from Oklahoma ran a V8 Toronado in AF/SA. The last time I saw it was 2002. Mark

Tony Massari in Div 1 of Yoo Hoo Too Jr Stock fame ran a FWD Buick Riviera turbo car.He unfortunatly
hit the wall at the top end a few years ago at the Dutch. The car was a total. He got another one and proceeded to melt a few pistons due to an over active screw driver twist on the boost. He is now retired.
