See that Vincent Nobile has jumped to GM and Summit/Ken Black engines...kind of surprising but suspect its more about the Jeggie/Johnson alliance than just the $$$$. Wouldn't be surprised to see more big changes for 2014, big super teams dominating, costs going unchecked, blah, blah, blah.

Nothing will cure what ails drag racing. We lost crowd appeal back in the 70's, and 80's. I know we're selling everything, and quitting this year. I'm sure we won't break either NHRA, or IHRA, but it is one less. It just ain't fun anymore. Used to be the whole town would follow a racer. Now they don't even know we exist. Even the quick fixes discussed here, are too spendy for the younger crowd. Remember when drag racing was the fastest growing motor sport? Right before bracket racing took root. I know, but it is the sad truth. No one cares to watch that.
