I really like those Sorenson boys and since I can't really vote for my car, I'll vote for their 69. It's WAY COOL!!!!

Chuck - Small correction needed here. There were two Hemi Challengers in the 2004 Indy A/SA class final - Don Little and myself. Don beat Joe with three cars left. Don's Hemi Challenger was most impressive, as are all the cars listed here.

Now THAT was impressive and I don't impress easily!

sorry Billy, I missed your launch on this race. Chris.
Just dug this out of my archives.

There are many great running cars out there, but of the cars currently running the one that impresses me most is Billy Nees' 6 cyl powerglide Nova. Anyone who has raced a low horsepower car realizes how fast it is. Wade Owens is a close second.

Just want to say thanks to all the guys still racing and finding horsepower and ?? to go faster. I am still partial to 302 Chevy small blocks that have to race against cars with 160+ cubic inches and still run mid 10's. Also, although you don't see many any more of the Tri5 Chevy's, they have a place in my heart. Thanks to the 5 liter Camaro's.

I beat Little in the 1999 Indy A/SA class final with the same car that Larry Peterson is driving today- 10.495 to 10.500

Lots of impressive cars in Stock. Johnny Grays Nova, Jim Boudreaus Camaro, Cecil Fraziers Camaro, Steve Ficacci Sr's Camaro (1st Stocker I saw go in the 9's after Bobby D'Armond), Steve Jr's Camaro, Evan Smiths Mustang, Abbazia Brothers Chevelle they ran a few years back, Jim Marshalls Corvette, Stave Calabros Corvette, Bob Horgans Camaro, Kens Mustang, Dusty Lowells Duster and the list could go on just here in D1.

Sorensen's made a lot of progress since 04... that was a long time ago when their car was relatively new to them. Since then they have figured it out!!!
