I plan on being there, regardless of the format. This race needs to be supported. That being said, it's more than disappointing that there's actually people out there that think it's cool if they show up with illegal motors. There's a bracket race later that night and the next day they can run.

We would like to thank Coast Chassis Design of Daytona Beach, Florida for a posting of $100 to win and $50 to runner up. They are also posting a bonus of $250 if the winner goes dead on with a zero in the final round. Thanks to Tim and Pete at CCD for putting their support behind this event. It is greatly appreciated.

How about all the racers and businesses stepping up to add more money to the already big purse. As I announce this event all the sponsors are welcome to come to the tower and introduce yourself and talk about the products and services your company provides. We'll make sure we talk at length about each and every sponsor. Michael Beard says he is coming and I'd like have him and Dave Ley to do some announcing with me. This race is going to be terrific. By the way, any of the racers that would like come visit in the tower on Fri. or Sat. during the time runs, come on up. I know many of you already and would like see you and also those I've not met before. May can't get here soon enough, tired of winter!
