Why wouldn't you have anyone that wants to run Top stock, pay and try to qualify for a 16 car field. just makes no sense? wouldn't you make more money?

Bucky,

We did not think the response would be so good. Its not about making money, its about having a good experience. If the drivers that have already registered in the top 16 are okay with having to qualify, we will consider it. If you don't qualify we will refund the entry fee for Top stock, if we go that route. I would like to here opinions for Top Stock. Would the drivers be open to all run field? That would most likely have bye runs.

Ken
I would be in favor of opening the entries up but capping it to a 16 car qualified field. I wouldn't give a refund to the non qualifiers, I would suggest kicking it into the winners pot or pay down to RU and Semi's

I would be a fan of qualifying a 16 car field regardless of the number of entrants. There are several other hitters that are not currently entered that I'm pretty sure would show up if they could run the Top Stock qualifying portion of the event. In my case I won't come
if I can't enter Top Stock, but if I couldn't qualify I would stay and run Stock Eliminator. I also agree with Dave about the entry fee for non qualifiers being used to pay to the other contestants.

Not trying to tell you how to run your race Ken. Just my opinion.

Thanks..

Great, I need more input. I want to make this a racers race. I want you guys to have the best experience possible. I like the idea of qualify for the 16 spots, but what do you guys think of all run. It would only be one more round and we could raise the purse.

I would be okay with all run . It would let everyone play and a bit more money to distribute up top.

No horse in this race but you asked for opinions. As a race promoter and organizer for about 12 years I think Ficacci and Keener have the right idea. It seems like a win-win for everyone. Jim
