I agree with Floyd Gomez. I don't have my dad either but I spend as much time with my son at the track as he does. I wish my dad was here too.

Andy's Dad or whatever you name is. Why keep complaining about where this post belongs. The moderators don't seem to see it your way so It is very simple. DON'T READ IT AND MOVE ON. It involves racing and according to the rules this is where it belongs. Do you have a personal problem with Drooze or his dad? Geez man move on.

Hey Harry, lighten up! When was the last time you watched a halfhour network sitcom? It's always the same formula and I have to say that Drooze and family (at least online and no intentional offense to them) fit the formula. I hope to hell they do get a TV deal, I'd watch it!

The car I race was built by my father and me and he was full of cancer head to toe when we to were building it and that was one of the things on his "bucket list"...build and race a car that resembled what he raced in the 70's. And we did it...he raced a week before he died. But people are right...this is a forum flood. Anything over 70 posts should be in the lounge. Im sure if you asked, class racer sould put up a spot just for you guys to post updates on your build and the troubles you fellas are having keeping these hi tech machines together. I would check it out for sure but its too much reading....love the chat but when there is 90 line and 500++ word replys its not enjoyable to read. Im interested in the factory produced race cars and wish I could afford to build or own one. Thats the only reason why I check these posts out.

Yes they made it to Indy. Ran 11.5 popping in high gear and was running rich last night. They were tuning the car this morning but haven't heard anything yet.

We got here Thurday morning and ran a couple runs in Test and Tune, now we are just waiting for the rain to stop. We are back in our hotel rooms, and as soon as they start drying the track, maybe within the next hour, we will buzz back.
We have our new tune, and will put it on the car as soon as the rain stops so we can get the car out of the trailer. We have met a lot of very nice folks and are having a good time, in spite of everything.. Folks from guys in NHRA Tech to ones just walking by have said, "welcome, we watch you online and read the blog regularly... nice to see the car and meet you!" And meeting Doug, Randy and Irv has been a special treat..We are the only ones here running a 5.7 as the rest of the guys are still running their 6.1s...So we are not running them head to head. And it would be nice to get into the 10's today. Everything is damp but our spirits... Don't you love the midwest in spring??? We have a saying in Ohio. If you don't like the weather, just stick around, it will change... and this time of year in the midwest that saying fits just fine...
