Hello
I'm new here.. I picked up my COPO car #33 in October. Mine is a 427 car. I have only had a chance to run it once. I am going to race it for 2013. I didnt have to put down a penny until two days before pick up. I dont see ever selling! The car is perfect, the fit and finish is better then any other 5th Gen I have seen. Here is my car. ![]() ![]() ![]() Hope to pick up some info here! So far very cool forum! ![]() |

I think GM has done a very good job of trying to get these COPO Camaros into the hands of racers. I have watched this closely thru a number of sources and it seems like only about 7 or 8 cars have been offered for resale out of the nearly 50 delivered so far. Not bad at all if way more than 75% of these cars get raced in some way going in to next season. I am getting my 427 car very soon and am absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity. I am a car collector and yes, some of my motivation to order one of these very special cars was the low production number in the first year to make it an instant collectible car, but................I'm goin' racing with my buddies and making some history of my own with this very cool race car. I for one am thrilled that the folks at GM Performance saw this project thru to the end.

Rat Raceway, that black & orange Copo looks really nice...but I'd still like to know what that knob inside the gas door is?
Just curious, so will there be a Copo shootout some wheres next year...maybe someone should start planning one, it would be interesting. |

Thanks Gump!
Fire away on any questions... I have tried to educate my self on every part or the cars. The orange knob is a trunk release. The fuel cell is in the trunk and there are no locks on the car so it's the only way to open it. |
