You don't need a clutchless trans to shift clutchless, you need the right clutch.

Years ago my brother started shifting his Jerico without the clutch,and just that is worth .07-.08 in the 1/8 and a true clutchless is a little faster yet.

Shifting the clutch assisted trans without the clutch made a significant ET improvement for me over clutching it. In my case, this is a GF5R. On the other hand, upgrading the trans to full clutchless made zero ET improvement. Go figure...
